Transferring a domain in adds a full year to its existing expiry date, so the transfer fee is not an extra charge on top of a renewal — it replaces one. Registry pricing changes from time to time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
What you get with every domain
Full DNS control
A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and SRV records you can edit yourself, with changes live in minutes.
Registrar lock
On by default, so nobody can move your domain without your authorisation code.
Email and web forwarding
Point the domain at an existing site, or forward mail to an inbox you already use.
WHOIS privacy
Available on most extensions to keep your address out of public records. Not available on .in or .co.in under NIXI policy.
Auto-renew and reminders
We email before the renewal date, and auto-renew is there if you would rather never think about it.
GST invoice
Every order produces a proper GST invoice. Add your GSTIN at checkout to claim input tax credit.
Need hosting with it?
Every hosting plan includes a free .com, .in or .co.in for the first year, so the domain costs nothing while your first term runs. After that it renews at the standard rate on the table above.

Keep it where it is and point it at us — that costs nothing and takes one nameserver change. Or move it here so everything sits in one account and one invoice.

How do I choose a good domain name?
Short, easy to say out loud and easy to spell after hearing it once. Avoid hyphens and numbers, which get lost when somebody repeats your address over the phone. If you sell mainly in India, .in and .co.in are natural and usually still available; .com is worth having if you can get it.
What is the difference between .in and .co.in?
Both are Indian domains run by NIXI. .in is open to anyone and is the more recognised of the two. .co.in was intended for commercial use and is also open to register, so it is a good fallback when the .in you want has gone.
Do I get free WHOIS privacy?
Privacy protection is available on most extensions and keeps your personal address and phone number out of public WHOIS records. It is not available on .in or .co.in, because NIXI policy requires registrant details to be published.
Do I need hosting to register a domain?
No. You can register a domain on its own and point it wherever you like later. If you do buy hosting from us, you can add the domain to the same order and manage both from one account with one invoice.
How long does registration take?
Usually a couple of minutes. Once payment clears, the domain is registered and appears in your client area where you can edit nameservers and DNS records straight away.
Can I get a refund on a domain?
No, and no registrar can offer one. Registration fees are paid to the registry the moment the domain is created, which is why domains are excluded from our 30-day money-back guarantee. Check the spelling carefully before you pay.
Who owns the domain I register?
You do. You are listed as the registrant, and you can transfer it away to another registrar after the 60-day ICANN lock that follows any new registration or ownership change.
What happens when my domain expires?
We email you before the renewal date. After expiry there is a grace period during which you can still renew at the normal price, followed by a redemption period where the registry charges a much higher restore fee. Renew on time and neither applies.
